Every Christian has a ministry. Here are a few ways to use your gifts at Epiphany.
Sunday Morning Teams
There are many ways to help out on Sunday mornings: bringing treats for after the service, to greeting people who arrive at church, joining the altar guild, flower guild or acolytes. You can help the "Holy Folders" who fold and staple bulletins. Others help maintain the church building and grounds.
Food Collection for Joseph's Storehouse
On the fourth Sunday of the month we take up a collection of non perishable food to donate to Joseph's Storehouse, a local Lebanon food bank.
Thanksgiving and Christmas Outreach
We collect and organize food and supplies in backpacks assisting chronically hungry children in Wilson County schools. There is a special effort near Thanksgiving. At Christmastime members are invited to participate in the Angel Tree program with a local elementary school.
The Lunch Bunch gathers on the fourth Wednesday of the month for a casual dutch treat lunch at a restaurant.
The Episcopal Church Women (ECW) of Epiphany gathers on the first Saturday of the month, women for breakfast at Clayborn's bakery.
The Order of the Daughters of the King pledge themselves to a life long practice of prayer, service and evangelism. They are dedicated to the spread of Christ's Kingdom and strengthening the spiritual life of the parish.
